What a weekend!

Vij’s 21st and me’ Ma’s 50th birthday celebrations on the same night. Hellova party I can tell ya!

Several pints of Kronenbourg and a few bottles of the fizzy stuff later….you have quite a messy keeran indeed…

I spent most, if not all, of the night running around trying to make sure everyone was having a good time (it was a surprise party, loads of people there), I don’t really remember talking to anyone about anything apart from one drunken dude who totally ruined my night by winding me up…see title below for how I feel about that.

And to top things off, I managed to nuke the hundreds of photos I took during the evening as well! Digital cameras need to have the ‘format all’ option lockable…gutted.

Well WTF is up with google eh?!

I realise people won’t be googling for me that often, if at all – but c’mon give a guy a break, at least let me have the satisfaction of knowing my site is number one for searches of ‘keeran’.

I just don’t get it – it would seem the more links I add going away from this site, the lower down on the list I go. Last week I had 2 links on the site and managed to get back up to number ONE. I’ve added a handful more and now I’m on page two! SECOND PAGE!

Gah!

Going to have to edit the builder for this site and add in some meta content and what not – I have no real idea about SEO, I would have thought that given the domain, the site name and the content (every post has my name in it ffs!), I could take it for granted that this site would come top.

Any tips please people?

Got the gallery running – nice and simple install process too – highly recommended!

Lots of tweaking to do – mainly filesize limits and template stuff (to try and match this one maybe). Have created a nice demo album to make sure it all works, I’ve dedicated it to the one we know and love as Lall

The google spider has realised the error of it’s ways and put me back on top.

Have been looking into setting up a proper gallery for this site so the Cardeef Masseef can upload some photos taken during various encounters with alcoholic beverages. Gallery seems to be popular so waiting for my zone file to update for gallery.keeran.com and I’ll get something up and running.

This is also what will be used for Dan to upload all of his photos from his across-the-uk cycling trip starting next week…eeek!
