So it’s been months and months since I’ve posted here. We’ve been busy OK?

Beanlogic has been going strong – lots of work to do, probably not enough time to do it, but it’s bringing in the money so I’m not complaining.

We’re coming up to a relatively quiet period when our current project goes live, so I’m knocking around a few ideas for projects for us to develop internally as products and a few things I want to be able to do in any free time I might regain. The main thing is I want to use this site to publish Flash tutorials/guides etc as I had originally intended when I set up this blog.

I’m thinking it would be a good idea to come up with a few project/task-based tutorials for the introductory things most people want to get out of Flash – dynamic content, sliding effects, clever transitions and menus etc…I think I’m going to start with some simple actionscript for motion effects and work on it from there – coming soon!

When I’m not in our new office slaving away at boring Java code, I’m immersed in World of Warcraft. This game has been my escape for the past 2-3 months when all this business malarkey gets too much. I am SO addicted it’s untrue! This is going to have to change too…I have just hit level 50 – only 10 to go and I hit the level cap – maybe then I’ll start reducing how much time I am putting into this ‘game’.

So in summary it’s been far too long since I’ve updated this site, I’m working far too hard, I’m playing games when I shouldn’t be and I want to get a lot more done!
