Suicide Bomber Halloween Costume
What on earth is going on with this kids parents?

It’s wrong on so many levels. Prince Harry should be taking notes.
I would have thought the threat level in the states and the resulting trigger-happiness would be a lot higher than over here. Skin colour aside, if anyone tried that over here they should be worried about their personal safety. They would be in as much danger from the knee-jerk retarded populace as the police!

Thanks for linking up. This is just bad. Very few things make me speechless but this tops it. I spent literally a half hour trying to come up with one paragraph to sum up how I feel.

No worries. The disturbing thing is that the kid probably isn’t aware of the global climate at the moment, so that means his parents thought it would be cool and/or funny to dress him up to shock people.
If it was a cartoon drawing, a comic, or some photoshop creation I would appreciate the intention – but extending the idea into the physical world just seems plain wrong :/

I actually find it funny. Come on, people, have a sense of humor! It’s quite scary, but that’s the goal of Halloween. And it’s not that offensive (Who should be offended? The suicide bombers?).
What’s more scary is how humiliating you find this, and how you even say that he should be worried about “his personal safety”. Since when did we start arresting kids for playing with plastic bombs and guns?

Dressing up as witches, goblins, ghosts and the like – ie, mythical monsters is one thing. Dressing your kid up to look like someone who walks into groups of people and blows themselves up is quite a stretch don’t you think?
It’s scary because it’s happening all over the world, redefining warfare and terrorising target populations. Now. In real life. Possibly in your country. I’m not sure this is the goal of halloween – it’s certainly not mine – sorry!
I appreciate there is humour there…people often laugh when they are shocked. I don’t find it personally offensive either, I’m just baffled by the state of society at the moment.
Re: personal safety… a few months ago there were unprecedented national security levels in this country (UK) on the anniversary of the London train bombings – people were edgy and looking for threats to neutralise. It was a tongue-in-cheek remark anyways – but I’m sure some people got it ;)

Go to google.com and look up images of ‘suicide bombers’. There you will see the results of suicide bombings, only parts of the men remain, having a child dress up as such is wrong. Right now, a war is going on, for what reasons I don’t know nor do I care, they’re always pointless, but to encourage these types of things to kids, to try and make it look like war is funny, it isn’t right. Soldiers have to clean up the remains of these obliterated men, and people make fun of it? It just doesn’t seem fair to me that people do those kinds of things, and it’s not just the fact it’s a teenager, if anyone did it, it still would be wrong. I know it’s important to have a sense of humor, but it’s also important to know when to draw the line.

Hahahahahaahahahaahahahaa. This is the funniest thing I have ever seen. If I had a child, this would be their obligatory Halloween costume, for sure. I don’t care how much crying and ass kicking it resulted with.

That is fucking retarded. People dress up as vampires, they pretend to be vampires at times….and consider it cool. this is NOT cool…...the kid’s parents should see that the kid doesn’t adorn such crap. I know it seems humorous….but for someone like me….who’s actually haunted by these bloody explosions….who faces the risk everyday…and who might lose close ones to this shit….it’s no damn joke
